The Clinician, Patient and Admin of the Year Awards celebrate the people who represent the very best of the rehabilitation community. These awards recognize clinicians who deliver exceptional care and patients whose dedication, resilience, and progress reflect the life-changing power of movement.
Anyone can submit a nomination.
Eligible nominees include:
Clinician of the Year - Physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and other rehabilitation clinicians making a meaningful impact in patient care.
Patient of the Year - Patients whose commitment to recovery, perseverance, or personal progress reflects the transformative role movement plays in their lives.
Admin of the Year - Front desk staff, practice managers, billers, schedulers, and other operations professionals who help keep clinics running smoothly and support the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Nominations open annually and remain open for a limited time. The current nomination window will be listed on the awards page.
Award recipients receive national recognition through the For the Love of Movement initiative and will be featured in a story highlighting their journey and contributions to the rehabilitation community.
Yes. Winners will participate in a photo and story feature that will be shared publicly
Yes. Self nominations are welcome, though many nominations come from colleagues, friends, family members, or patients who want to recognize someone’s impact.
Yes. You are welcome to submit nominations for multiple clinicians or patients.
Winners will be announced later in the year as part of the For the Love of Movement campaign. Finalists and winners will be contacted directly before public announcements are made.

The most meaningful nominations tell a story. We are looking for clinicians who go above and beyond for their patients, and patients whose commitment to recovery reflects the power of movement. Big achievements are great, but everyday dedication and impact matter just as much.
Absolutely. You do not need to write a perfect submission. Simply share the story in your own words and explain why the person deserves recognition. Authentic stories are what matter most.
Even if someone is not selected as the final recipient, their story still helps highlight the incredible people in the rehabilitation community. Many nominations may be featured or celebrated as part of the For the Love of Movement initiative.
Every day clinicians change lives and patients achieve incredible progress that often goes unnoticed. Submitting a nomination is a chance to recognize the people whose dedication, resilience, and compassion deserve to be celebrated.
Stories that show real impact. This might be a clinician who transformed a patient’s life, a patient who overcame enormous obstacles, or someone whose dedication inspires everyone around them.
