Industry veteran joins Prompt from Confluent Health, the nation's largest network of outpatient PT and OT clinics, to lead the next chapter of AI-driven RCM purpose-built for PT, OT, SLP, and chiropractic.
Prompt Health, the leading clinic operations platform for rehab therapy, today announced that Dana DeYoung has joined the company to lead its enterprise billing strategy. Dana joins Prompt from Confluent Health—the nation's largest network of outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinics, with 1,600+ locations and 50+ partner brands—where she served as Vice President, National Billing, leading revenue cycle operations at one of the most complex, multi-brand enterprise rehab organizations in the United States.
Dana’s hire signals a deliberate, significant investment in the future of our clients’ RCM operations through her leadership of Prompt’s Enterprise Billing Success team: more AI, more automation, more enterprise-grade depth, and most importantly, the seasoned operational leadership that enterprise rehab therapy organizations require. With this addition, Prompt is making one thing unmistakable: Prompt is the end-to-end practice growth platform purpose-built to scale from growing practices to the largest enterprise organizations.
Already helping customers process more than 6,000 claims per FTE, reduce denials by 20%, and prevent up to 80% of claim denials before they happen, Prompt is investing even further in one of the biggest opportunities left in healthcare operations: helping practices capture every dollar they're owed in an era of shrinking reimbursement.
Rehab therapy organizations, from single-clinic startups to 600+ location franchises, are demanding more from their technology partners than ever before. They want EMR, billing, scheduling, patient engagement, compensation, intelligence, and revenue cycle services in one connected platform, delivered by a team that understands their specialty inside and out. Generalist healthcare AI platforms can't deliver that. PT, OT, SLP, and chiropractic have payer dynamics, CPT structures, plan-of-care nuances, and compliance considerations that simply aren't a side project for anyone else.
Prompt has spent years building the most modern, AI-powered operating system for rehab therapy, including:
Dana brings the enterprise-grade billing expertise and operational depth that solidifies Prompt as the premier platform for the largest, most complex rehab therapy organizations in the country.
Dana is a Louisville native and a graduate of both the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville. She began her career as a clinical psychologist before becoming a healthcare entrepreneur, founding and operating a physician management company specializing in revenue cycle, coding, compliance, and auditing across a broad range of specialties.
In March 2022, Dana joined Confluent Health, where she has led national billing operations across one of the most expansive private rehab therapy networks in the country: 50+ partner brands and more than 1,600 outpatient PT and OT clinics. She has spent her career proving that revenue cycle, when done right, is not a back-office function, it's a growth engine.
"I have spent my entire career inside rehab therapy revenue cycle operations, and what's clear to me is that the next chapter of RCM in this industry isn't going to be won by horizontal healthcare platforms bolting AI onto generic billing infrastructure," said Dana DeYoung. "It's going to be won by the team that pairs deep, specialty-specific billing expertise with truly modern, AI-native technology. That's exactly what Prompt is building, and I am thrilled to lead our enterprise billing success strategy from here."
For enterprise rehab therapy organizations evaluating a platform built for the next decade, not the last one, Prompt offers what they require: unified clinical, operational, and financial workflows in one AI-native platform, now paired with senior billing leadership that has personally operated revenue cycle at a scale larger than most enterprises will ever need. This is what end-to-end means when the team building it has actually done the job at scale.
For organizations considering generalist AI/RCM platforms positioning themselves across all of healthcare, the choice is simpler than ever. Prompt is owned by, built for, and led by people whose entire careers have been dedicated to rehab therapy. RCM in PT, OT, SLP, and chiropractic is not another vertical for us. It is the vertical.
"Dana is exactly the leader we have wanted to lead our enterprise billing strategy," said Mike Dwyer, Co-Founder, Prompt Health. "She has led revenue cycle at the highest level and she shares our conviction that this industry deserves an AI-driven, end-to-end practice growth platform, not a stitched-together mix of EMR, third-party billing, and bolt on healthcare AI.”
Prompt Health is the leading AI-driven clinic operations platform for rehab therapy, combining EMR, scheduling, documentation, billing, RCM services, patient engagement, compensation, and intelligence into one connected system purpose-built for PT, OT, SLP, and chiropractic. Prompt powers the practices growing fastest in the industry, from solo clinics to 600+ location franchises like FYZICAL and 175+ location enterprises like JAG Physical Therapy.
