Patients on Prompt Engage [formerly PT Wired] are far less likely to drop out of rehab—it's really that simple. Once we set them up, the system helps us maximize patient engagement.

We absolutely love Prompt Engage [formerly PT Wired.] The whole system is easy from setting up patients and prescribing their HEP, setting up staff, and even patients say the app is very user friendly. Engage elevates our practice through technology, patient engagement, and patient success.

My patients love it! Easy set up, good database of exercises, an ability to add exercises. My therapists really like being able to track the compliance of their patients as well. The ability to message a patient or have the patient reach out to us on the platform is a huge plus.
Steven Newton, PT, DPT

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, a home exercise program is part of our core plan. HEP is one of the essentials included in your plan, not priced as an add-on. Engage is the enhanced layer on top: a branded patient app with a 7,000+ video HEP library, multilingual exercises, marketing tools, and automated RTM. So you get HEP without Engage; Engage upgrades the patient-facing experience and adds RTM billing.

  • Engage supports the full family of RTM CPT codes (98975–98981) and automatically tracks RTM requirements while generating compliant billing documentation that ties into our native billing. The specific codes that apply to a given patient depend on the monitoring type and time involved, so we'd lean on Engage's tracking and have you confirm code selection with your billing team.

  • Not universally, it depends on the payer. Medicare reimburses RTM codes, and a growing number of commercial payers do, too. We've seen clinics reimbursed by Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, and Aetna. That said, commercial coverage varies by payer and by state, so you'll want to confirm coverage with each payer before billing. We provide the tracking and documentation; verifying coverage is part of your billing workflow.

  • Effectively yes, RTM reimburses monitoring of real between-visit activity, so there needs to be qualifying patient engagement and monitoring data for the period, plus clinician time reviewing it. Engage captures that for you automatically. Patients follow their HEP through the branded app, and Engage tracks the RTM activity and time. The specific day-count and time thresholds are set by CMS/payer rules, so follow current payer guidance for exactly what qualifies. Patients also have access to a basic web app version to login to as well if they prefer not to download an app on their phone.

  • Coverage is clearest with Medicare and typically Medicare Advantage. Among commercial payers, we've seen reimbursement from Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, and Aetna, but commercial RTM coverage varies by state and by individual payer policy. We'd recommend checking your MAC region and fee schedule, running verification-of-benefits for each patient, and confirming each payer's specific RTM policy before billing. There's no blanket guarantee of coverage across all payers or states.
