This month, Prompt places Sidekick suggestions directly into structured note fields, tracks referral relationships in one place, and collects subjective pain data automatically between visits. That's less time starting notes from scratch, digging for referral history, and sending forms by hand.
A referral follow-up you meant to make last week. An outcome survey that needed to go out before a patient's next visit. Some days it feels like you're the one with the home exercise program, and the reps are impossible to keep up with.
This month, Prompt takes a few of those off your plate. Referral activity tracked in one place, patient outcome surveys selected automatically, and pain scales that send before the patient arrives. Less to hold in your head on a busy day.
Some clinicians prefer to document and review their notes in open text, others prefer structured fields. Sidekick (Prompt’s AI scribe) now allows for both.
Objective measures and subjective pain scores populate their own structured fields, and your clinicians review everything before sign-off. In beta for physical therapists treating orthopedic conditions, with occupational, speech and chiropractic support planned.
What you'll notice
Ever have 2 people reach out to the same referring physician in a week without either one knowing? The new Physician CRM is a directory of your referring providers and the activity history with each one.
Log activities, track completion status, assign points of contact, and attach tasks so every follow-up has a home. You can also download a PDF of referral conversion data, patient case metrics, and plan of care details to analyze.
What you'll notice
Most states limit how many visits in a row an assistant can treat before the supervising therapist sees the patient again. The limit differs by discipline, and the count runs per patient.
Your report of active patient cases now counts those visits for COTAs and SLPAs alongside PTAs. The count resets when a supervising therapist sees the patient.
What you'll notice
Access control gets harder to track as a practice grows. What someone can see and do in Prompt comes down to which permission group they belong to. New clinicians start, people change roles, and those groups need updating.
Permission groups now filter those groups by provider, provider type, and membership. Add or remove people in bulk instead of one edit at a time.
What you'll notice
Different payers ask for different outcome measures, and the right one often depends on the body part you are treating. That decision comes up with every new patient.
Now it’s a rule you set once, and it's selected automatically moving forward. For each payer, choose which survey goes with each body part, and Prompt applies it from there. Intake paperwork lines up with each payer's authorization requirements without anyone deciding in the moment.
What you'll notice
Pain scores tell the story of a patient's progress. You’ve always been able to send a pain scale whenever you need one. Now you can send pain scales automatically before every follow-up visit. Patients answer before they arrive, so the data is in the chart before the clinician starts the visit.
What you'll notice
Claims get touched a lot. A code gets corrected or an amount gets adjusted. Weeks later someone asks why a balance looks the way it does.
Every one of those edits is now on the record. Prompt logs the original value, the new value, who made the change, and when. Each entry saves with the rest of the visit's history.
What you'll notice
Booking past an authorization can be costly. The claim comes back denied, and the patient gets a bill they were not expecting.
Now the answer sits on the visit itself, so nobody is cross-referencing auth records mid-scheduling. Open a visit and you’ll see the active authorization, the visits left, and the plan's annual limit with its reset date. Color cues flag where a visit stands before finalizing the appointment.
What you'll notice
Prompt ships updates every 2 weeks, so your team spends less time waiting and more time working with better tools.
August's releases are about information showing up before you go looking for it: Subjective pain data collected every visit, visit limits present at the time of booking, and an audit trail of every financial change. Captured automatically, so your team can act on it instead of chasing it.
Can anyone use the Physician CRM? The Physician CRM is currently available to Prompt Plus teams. We are gathering feedback and fine-tuning performance before opening it to all teams in an upcoming release.
What are examples of activities logged in the Physician CRM? You can log if an activity was an email, phone call, meeting, site visit, outbound referral, inbound referral, or other. You set the date/time, actions taken by, its completion status, and any helpful notes.
Can Sidekick structured note suggestions be utilized for all disciplines? This feature is currently in beta and optimized for PTs treating orthopedic conditions, with future plans to support OT, SLP, and Chiropractic clinicians.
Do I need Prompt Plus for automatic pain scales? Yes. If you do not have Prompt Plus, you can still send pain scales manually.
Do visit limits that appear while scheduling adjust in real time? Yes. The count updates as you book. It starts with the total authorized visits, then subtracts checked-in visits, visits already on the schedule, and the one you are adding.
