Provider capacity up 40 points. Documentation time cut 41%. Since switching to Prompt, Park North Physical Therapy, a 2-location practice in upper Manhattan, has stopped leaving open slots on the schedule and started filling them.
For owner Sam Morjaria, that shift comes down to something incredibly simple: better technology. "Once the iPhone came out, it kind of changed the way you thought and the way you function and the efficiency," he said. "Prompt is the same way. You don't know what you don't know."
Sam has run the practice since 2007, seeing roughly 300 patients a week across a 2,100 square foot flagship storefront and a smaller original location in Harlem. He switched to Prompt in 2023, after years on a system he felt had stopped trying to get better.
Since making the switch, Park North Physical Therapy has seen:
- Provider arrived capacity grow from 74% to 114%
- Documentation time drop 41%, from 3 days to 1.76 days per note
- 805 visits booked through online scheduling with a 99% approval rate
- 17.3% more arrived visits and 14.3% more new cases in the last 6 months on Prompt compared to the first 6 months
Replacing an EMR that stopped improving
Sam's old EMR wasn't broken exactly. It was just standing still.
"They didn't care to upgrade. They didn't care to get better. And to me, that's a red flag right there," Sam said. "If you do the same thing you did 3 years ago, you get left in the dust."
Sam knew it was time to change EMRs, but the switch itself wasn’t entirely painless. Migrating years of patient data off a system that wasn't cloud based, then training staff on something new, took about 6 months.
"Anything new is hard, but especially transferring all the data was a challenge," Sam said. Looking back, he doesn't regret the decision, even if it wasn't fun in the moment.
How Park North Physical Therapy grew capacity to 114% and cut documentation time 41%
Sam talks about efficiency, capacity, and staying ahead in the abstract, the way an owner talks when a system is working well enough that he's stopped thinking about it.
That sense of efficiency shows up in the numbers, too.

A support team that solves problems instead of shutting doors
What kept Sam from second guessing the switch wasn't a single feature. It was how Prompt's team behaved when something went wrong.
"With Prompt, it's never been, sorry, I can't do this or I can't do that. Let me look into it. Let's look for a solution. Let me get back to you," Sam said. "That's what separates Prompt from a lot of our systems, which is like, sorry about your problem."
Not one tool, a full stack: Sidekick, Insight, and Engage
Sam doesn't run one Prompt product, he runs several, and he talks about them as a single system rather than a stack of separate purchases. Documentation, billing, and patient exercises all route through Prompt now.
"I feel like my job as the owner of the company is to not give my employees more work, but to make their life more efficient and create better outcomes with less work," he said. "That's where I feel like Prompt, some of that is how you can create more efficiency with Sidekick.

With Sidekick, documentation is done in under 1 minute
Using Sidekick, Prompt's AI documentation tool, he holds his clinicians to a standard that would have been unthinkable on his old system. "It makes everybody's life so much easier when you're doing your notes. You can't spend more than a minute doing it. It shouldn't take that long with the resources we have," he said.
The practice's average time to complete a note has dropped from 3 days to 1.76 days, a 41% improvement, since moving onto Prompt.
Insight 2.0: catching coding issues before they become real problems
Sam also uses Insight's coding and billing intelligence to catch issues his team couldn't see on their own. "With all the data we collect, it's helpful to know: are we coding properly? Are the clinicians billing correctly? How am I supposed to figure that out without it?" he said.
Easier home exercise programs with Engage
He described a similar shift with patient exercises. Before Prompt, his team filmed exercise videos in the office and sent them to patients through Dropbox. Now that lives inside Engage. "We have all these exercises at our fingertips, and it's an app," he said. "Everything is about making a therapist's life easier, making it more efficient, and making the patients more likely to comply with their care."

Online scheduling fills 805 visits with a 99% approval rate
Sam runs check in the way he wishes every line at the doctor's office worked. "I was at the airport checking in, and I'm like, why is it so easy to check in at the airport, and why is it so difficult here? That's when I switched to the kiosk, because it just made more sense," he said.
That same instinct extended to online scheduling. Weekend cancellations used to sit unfilled until Monday morning. Now Sam fills them himself from his phone on Sunday afternoon. "Sunday night is when we get a lot of the cancellations. As soon as I check something, I can start getting people off the schedule by Monday morning, and a lot of those spots are filled. Nobody checks the phones until 8:00 Monday morning. I think that pays for itself," he said.
The practice has booked 805 visits through online scheduling with a 99% approval rate. 253 of those came specifically through Plan of Care Compliance Automation, which automatically brings under-scheduled patients back onto the calendar.

A practice built to keep up, not get left behind
Sam's advice to himself 2 years ago doubles as his advice to any owner still deciding whether to switch systems: don't accept a problem as permanent just because it's familiar. "There's a solution out there. Find it," he said. "I put people in 2 categories: either a problem creator or a problem solver. Pick one."
Park North Physical Therapy picked which they are. Provider capacity is up 40 points, documentation is 41% faster, and the practice is booking hundreds of visits it wouldn't have filled before, without adding a single hire.
